Puerto Rico is perfectly situated for downwind paddling. Picture surfing on the open ocean in warm Caribbean waters. The consistency of the 12 - 20 knot trade winds allow for reliable downwind runs every day.
Camps commence every Monday starting in January and run through the winter season. Camps are 5 days in duration beginning on Monday and finishing on Friday. Each camp consists of two downwind runs per day with a morning and afternoon run (conditions permitting). Distance is a 10 miles coastal run from start to finish. Camps are limited to 8 participants in order to give each paddler appropriate and detailed coaching as well as for safety considerations. Each camp will include two certified coaches and safety boat. Camps are run out of the host hotel Courtyard by Marriott, Isla Verde Beach Resort.
Camp pricing for 2021 - $950 USD per person.
Nonrefundable deposit of $300 to reserve space in camp must be paid no later than 14 days prior to camp. Safety waivers must be signed and emailed 7 days prior to camp.

We do not currently run camps for absolute entry level beginners. Safety is our number one concern and big downwind conditions can be dangerous. However, if you would like a one-on-one introductory clinic, or know of a group interested in an introductory camp, feel free to contact us. We will build a curriculum right for you.
